That was an honest, first reaction to the news that former Liverpool, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres, 37, announces his return to pitch from retirement two years after his last game!

The Spaniard posted a sort of cryptic message on Instagram that intrigued millions of fans around the world.

"I only understand life in one way, playing football. For that reason, I'm returning. On Friday, I'll tell you where," posted Torres below a black and white image with a kit number '9' on it.

The prolific striker scored an impressive 95 goals in two separate stints with his maiden side, Atletico Madrid, but will also be remembered for his tenures at Anfield Road and Stamford Bridge. The Scousers were furious when he left the Reds to join the Blues in 2011.

El Nino's unexpected return comes months after he has taken up boxing and shocked fans with a muscular transformation.
