Should the sacking be confirmed, this will be the second time the former Ingwe head coach will be let go due to public uproar
South African top-tier side Chippa United are set to relieve former AFC Leopards’ head coach Luc Eymael from his technical advisory role just two days after being appointed to the position.
The former AFC Leopards tactician's position at Chippa has caused uproar owing to widely publicized racist remarks he aimed at Yanga fans that prompted the Tanzanian Football Federation to ban him from coaching in the country.

According to an interview on South African Newspaper Times Live, it is revealed that club owner Siviwe ‘Chippa’ Mpengesi has finally caved under the enormous pressure he's faced since announcing the Belgian's appointment as a technical advisor on Monday and will release him.
"A meeting will be held on Wednesday morning to finalise Eymael's fate and he will be informed of the decision. The political pressure has been massive and there was no way Mpengesi was going to be able withstand it‚" the insider said.
Should the sacking be confirmed, this will be the second time the former Ingwe head coach will be let go due to public uproar. Eymael was fired with immediate effect by Tanzanian Premier League side Yanga in July last year for calling the club's fans “illiterate and monkeys” and remains a hugely controversial figure across the continent even after apologizing for his comments on social media.
