The Spanish tactician is constantly finding new ways to bring his squad closer together
Festive days at Parc des Princes!
Two days ago, Paris Saint-Germain booked a place in their second consecutive Champions League final, which turned out to be the best possible birthday gift for their head coach, Luis Enrique, who turns 56 today.
However, instead of letting his players surprise him, the tactician turned the tables and did something unexpected.
According to Le Parisien, Enrique organized a dinner last night at an exclusive restaurant near the Arc de Triomphe to mark the special occasion.
Nevertheless, when the PSG players appeared, they realized one tiny detail the Spaniard had left out: he wasn't present!
🚨 Luis Enrique is bizarre.

He invited ALL the PSG players to celebrate his own birthday at a dinner and just DIDN'T SHOW UP.
Lucho took the opportunity to let the players enjoy the qualification to the final on their own.

Therefore, the Parisians practically celebrated their manager's birthday without the guest of honour. And while some would consider it a prank Enrique pulled on his team, it appeared to be another innovative attempt to strengthen team unity.
Hence, it's no wonder PSG are currently arguably the best side in Europe and, according to many, one of the greatest Champions League teams in the 21st century.
