Norwich have been monitoring the 20-year old closely.
English Championship side, Norwich City FC are interested in signing CF Montréal's Ismael Kone before the 2022/23 English second tie league season starts.
Ikone was born in Ivory Coast but represents the Canadian national team. At the club level, he partners with Victor Wanyama in the middle of the park at Montréal having joined the club in 2021.
According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, talks between all the parties are ongoing with the Canaries keen on landing the workaholic 20-year-old. Norwich watched him during Montreal’s 2-1 win over DC United on Sunday morning.

Many clubs in the race but Norwich want to be ahead of the rest - they were in Washington on Saturday vs DC United to convince Kone.
In an earlier interview, Canada coach John Herdman had praised the midfielder terming him grounded.
'This kid is genuine, grounded, and down to earth. He's got a personality, you can stand and have a joke with him and he isn't too enamored by the environment in terms of the personalities that are in the game, " he said.

Wanyama's future at the club is also up in the air. With his contract ending at the end of the year, it remains to be seen if he will extend the deal or if he will move elsewhere.
