English Premier League is the most popular football league in the world and arguably the best one. Hence, it's not surprising that a renowned competition like Copa América is full of names who play in the top tier of English football.

The mentioned 42 players come from 16 different teams. The only sides without a representative at the South American continental tournament are the three newly promoted teams - Southampton, Ipswich, and Leicester - and Everton. Liverpool, Fulham and Aston Villa have the most players in the tournament, four each. Brazil and Argentina are national teams with the most EPL footballers - nine and eight, respectively.

Seleção's squad will heavily rely on the only two Arsenal players in the tournament, the two Gabriels - Magalhães and Martinelli. Liverpool's Alisson should be in goal, while West Ham's Lucas Paquetá and Newcastle's Bruno Guimarães will wait for their chance in the midfield.

On the other hand, some of Argentina's biggest strengths should be Chelsea's Enzo Fernández and Liverpool's Alexis Mac Allister. At the same time, the offensive line will count on City's Julian Álvarez and United's Alejandro Garnacho. His teammate from Old Trafford, Lisandro Martínez, should be in charge of defence along with his namesake Emiliano, a goalkeeper from Aston Villa.

As for the other national teams, Liverpool's attacking duo, Darwin Núñez and Luis Díaz, will represent Uruguay and Colombia, respectively, whereas Paraguay will heavily count on Brighton's Julio Enciso and Miguel Almirón from Newcastle.
