The playoffs are scheduled for June 19(quarters), June 25 (semis) and June 27( final) at Nakuru Show Ground.

Women Premier League (WPL) holders, Vihiga Queens, are sweating over the availability of their goal poacher Terry Engesha ahead of the playoffs scheduled for from June 19.

Given a bye to the semi-final where they will line up against the winner between the quarters match pitting zone A's Gaspo Women against Zone B's Wadadia FC, Vihiga have until June 25 to get their lethal striker back to fitness.

Engesha, who was in the race for the golden boot missed the last two matches of the regular season, due to injury, to finish the race in third place at 15 goals, four behind tied top scorers Violet Nanjala and Mwanahalima Adam.

"It still is too soon to tell whether she (Engesha) will have a clean bill of health by the time we play the semis next week on Friday. She is under observation and the medical team is yet to clear her," said Vihiga coach Alex Alumira.

The match between Nakuru and Ulinzi has the ingredients of a thriller as it will be the second time the sides are meeting for a playoff match. The first was in 2019 when they clashed in a division one playoff to determine the division's winner before they got promoted to the premier league.

Meanwhile, at the beginning of the season, club officials who attended a pre-season meeting revealed that an agreement was reached for league playoff and the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Women's Cup winners to get awarded Sh one million I prize money while runners up walks home with half a million shillings.

All the six teams in the WPL playoff also stand a chance to win the inaugural Women's Cup which was halted in the quarter final stage and is
