Manchester City goalkeeper celebrates a 1-0 win as his new side Fenerbahce defeats Trabzonspor, whose custodian is the former Manchester United shot-stopper
Manchester City roasted their city rival, Manchester United, on Sunday night (3-0), but we can't say we're surprised by this outcome. Some things have become habits over the years.
Interestingly, even their former goalkeepers kept the tradition going on the same day, only in Turkey, a few thousand miles away.
It was the Turkish Super Lig derby between Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor, and their respective keepers, Ederson and Andre Onana.

The ex-Manchester City custodian debuted for the Turkish giants, who recently sacked Jose Mourinho. The Brazilian joined Fenerbahce less than two weeks ago, and destiny decided to confront him with the Cameroonian. His Trabzonspor counterpart also registered his maiden appearance for his new club, which he joined on loan only a few days ago.
And Fenerbahce celebrated a 1-0 victory thanks to Youssef En-Nesyri's winner in the dying seconds of the first half.
But what is bizarre? Despite the loss, Onana was actually the man of the match, due to eight saves, which shows how dominant the hosts were and that they only netted once despite so many goal-scoring opportunities.
Yeah we’re the problem man

On the other hand, Ederson made a single save but kept a clean sheet because he was jobless for most of the match. One would say it's the choice of the club that makes all the difference in Ederson's and Onana's cases. Before and now.
