Dybala's late penalty saves Juve in the Derby d'Italia

Inter were one up thanks to Edin Dzeko, but a minute before the stoppage time, the Argentine levelled the score (1-1)

For the vast part of tonight's Derby d'Italia, it seemed like the reigning champions Inter would defeat their archrival Juventus, but Bianconeri scored a late equaliser and are heading home with a significant point in their pockets.

Edin Dzeko netted early in the game to break the deadlock. Calhanoglu's ferocious strike bounced off the post, and Dzeko reacted promptly to score an opener from 12 yards.

Juve's coach Massimiliano Allegri felt he needed to shake things up a bit in the second half, so he sent Federico Chiesa and Paulo Dybala on the pitch. It made an immediate effect, but the climax came just minutes before the injury time.

Denzel Dumfries went in late to clear from Alex Sandro and caught the Brazilian on the boot. At first, the referee allowed play to continue, but the VAR consultancy persuaded him to change his decision and award the guests a late penalty kick.

Dybala stepped up and converted to equalise. However, neither side is actually happy for the draw because the table-toppers Napoli and Milan are running away from them little by little.
