Roma is keen to keep the forward and reduce his salary, but when Boca Juniors calls, the heart is often much stronger than the mind
Paulo Dybala is set to return to Roma's squad following a knee injury that kept him sidelined for almost a month, and could even be ready for the derby against Juventus at Stadio Olimpico next Sunday.
However, Paulo Dybala is also a man facing a serious dilemma.
His deal with the Giallorossi expires next June, and the club is willing to offer him a new one, though at a reduced salary. However, the other path leads him to an ultimate dream of at least half of Argentinian children when they start playing football - to Boca Juniors.

According to transfer expert Matteo Moretto, the giants from his homeland are interested in Dybala and have even started talks with his representatives. At the moment, the popular La Joya is allegedly closer to Buenos Aires than to Rome.
Although born and raised in Argentina, the 32-year-old moved to Italy at the age of 19 - following his youth career and one senior season at Instituto - and has since lived and played there for Palermo, Juventus, and Roma.
So, between two homes, he has to pick one, and he still hasn't made up his mind.
Will he choose Lionel Messi's path and never return to his homeland as a player, or be like Diego Armando Maradona, Angel Di Maria, Carlos Tevez, and Juan Roman Riquelme, who all got back home to hang up their boots in Argentinian stadiums, under Argentinian sun, in front of their compatriots?
It's a tough choice, that's for sure.
