Only 45,68 per cent of Tottenham Hotspur supporters will be happy if The Special One would stay for another season, the poll conducted by The Athletic shows

Jose Mourinho has lost Tottenham Hotspur fans' trust, and the majority of them want him out of the dugout by the end of the season, the recent poll conducted by The Athletic showed.

According to it, as many as 45,68 per cent of the Spurs supporters said they would be happy if Mourinho stays in charge for another year. Those quite unexpected results place him at the bottom of the English Premier League managerial list, with Newcastle coach Steve Bruce as the only tactician with less support of his club's fanbase (miserable 25,41%).

The charismatic Portuguese tactician - who likes to call himself The Special One - has had a bitter-sweet campaign with Hary Kane and fellows, failing to underdogs Dinamo Zagreb in a Europa League shocking two-leg tie. It's not much better for the Londoners in the Premiership, too, where they are sitting in sixth place, miles away from the UCL spot.

On the other hand, the coach who enjoys his terrace's most trust is Everton's gaffer Carlo Ancelotti with the astonishing support of 98,67% of fans. Very close to him are his colleagues Jurgen Klopp (98,42), Marcelo Bielsa (98,13), Pep Guardiola (97,40) and Brendan Rodgers (96,44).

If you ask Arsenal fans, the vast majority of them (87,59) wouldn't mind seeing Mikel Arteta furthermore at Emirates, especially after he revived Martin Odegaard and guided the Gunners to the 1/4 finals of the Europa League. His rival Ole Gunnar Solskjaer achieves slightly better results this season, but it doesn't impress the Red Devils fanbase so much, obviously, since he received 'only' 75,73% of support.

That's fine in terms of numbers, but far from the popularity of Liverpool, Leeds United, Manchester City or Leicester City coaches.
