The German newspaper Bild claims that an agreement has been reached between the young tactician and the German giants
The word on the street was right: the question is not whether, but when. And today, it is leaking from all sides, and the confirmation is coming - Julian Nagelsman is the new coach of the current European champion!
Albeit Bayern and Nagelsmann's current club RB Leipzig have not yet officially announced the transfer, the German newspaper Bild claims that an agreement has been reached between the young tactician and Bayern. Nagelsmann, 34, has no exit clause in the contract, and the Bulls have tried to use that to deter the Bavarians. They set a dizzying figure of 30,000,000 euros as compensation, but that did not stop the German giants from taking action.
Reportedly, Bayern offers 20,000,000, while Leipzig insists on 30,000,000. The Kicker, on the other hand, explains that the deal would fall to 25,000,000.
"An agreement between the two sides can be expected ahead of the semi-finals of the DFB Cup on Friday in Leipzig when they will host Werder Bremen. Nagelsmann always pointed out that he would consider leaving early only if the club agrees, "Kicker writes.
The departure of Julian Nagelsmann, who is responsible for the blossoming of the Red Bull's children into a top team of European calibre, is a considerable loss for Leipzig. However, the mentioned money that will pour into the Bulls' cashbox is not insignificant in times of great crisis. It is known that Germans do not spend what they did not earn. With the money they'll receive for Nagelsmann, there is no doubt that Leipzig will manage to save the basis of the team and that the departure of Dayot Upamekano (also to Bayern) will be the last for this year.
Let us remind you - Red Bull paid Nagelsmann 5,000,000 euros to Hoffenheim.
