Almost forgotten Tottenham forward returns to the starting XI of Spurs accompanied with his quite an unorthodox physical appearance
Dele Alli is still only 25, but it seems ages since he was in his prime. The world was at his feet with both Tottenham and England national team, deservedly earning the PFA Young Player of the Year reward twice in a row while only 21.
Praised by fans, teammates and pundits, Alli enjoyed those fruitful days until two disturbing moments: hamstring injury and the departure of Mauricio Pochettino. Or, to be more precise, the arrival of Jose Mourinho to Tottenham.
Dele simply couldn't find his way through that difficult period of his career and somehow disappeared from the big stage.
When he returned to the pitch recently under his ex-teammate Ryan Mason, the forward showed that he's still got some tricks upon his sleeve and that it's a time for the new Dele. Oh, yes, alongside his totally new haircut that made an English international almost unrecognizable.
Tottenham interim head coach Ryan Mason praised the performance of rejuvenated Dele Alli as he inspired a comfortable 2-0 win over Wolves.

Alli was perhaps unlucky not to be named man of the match against Wolves but emphasized he was enjoying himself out there.
" I enjoy it when we have the ball, and when we're playing with players like this, it's a joy to play."
He continued: "I'm just trying to express myself, have fun, and as I said, I try and help the team as much as I can.
"Mentally, I try and help the team, whether it be making runs off the ball or getting on the ball and trying to create things if we are going to win these games, we have to all work together, I'm just trying to find a rhythm, find form and play as well as I can for the club," concluded Dele.
