Three matches will be played on Sunday afternoon.
FKF Premier League week nine action will come to a close on Sunday with three more matches set to be played in Nairobi and in Kakamega County.
On Saturday, six matches were played. There was no change at the top after Tusker and Nzoia Sugar played out to a barren draw but at the other end of the table, FC Talanta and Nairobi City Stars finally ended their troublesome runs with wins over Mathare United and Sofapaka respectively.
Vihiga Bullets vs Bandari
Bullets will be seeking to bounce back from their midweek defeat to Wazito FC when they host the Dockers who are keen on building on last weekend’s win over Tusker FC.
Last weekend, Bullets downed City Stars 4-2 for their first win of the season, and all the gains vanished when they went down 3-1 to Wazito FC. The Mombasa-based side on the other hand arrested their poor run with a win that ended Tusker’s unbeaten run. In midweek they played Tanzania’s Coastal Union in a friendly match that they won 1-0.

Coach George Owoko is confident that they can cause an upset against the visitors. “It is a game like any other, they beat Tusker last week and such a win can be a confidence booster but we are thinking about ourselves and not them. We are going to prepare well for the match, work and out weaknesses and try to get a result on Sunday, it is a winnable match,” he told Mozzart Sport.
Bandari midfielder Fidel Origa on the other hand says his side is out to get a win. “It is an away game which sometimes can be very difficult but we are going to give our best in order to get a win”.
Bidco United vs Posta Rangers
United will entertain the Mail-men at the Kasarani Annex. The match was initially set to be played at the Thika Sub-County Stadium but it was moved to Kasarani.
Last week Bidco ended their woeful run with a win over AFC Leopards while Posta lost to Gor Mahia before settling for a one-all draw with Mathare United in midweek.
It is a match that both teams are desperate to win. Bidco coach Anthony Akhulia wants to build on last weekend’s 4-1 thrashing of AFC Leopards.
“It was important to beat AFC Leopards convincingly but now that game is behind us, we have to build on it by getting another good result against Posta Rangers. It won't be an easy game but I am confident that we can do it,” he stated.

KCB vs Kariobangi Sharks
The Bankers are now firmly in the title race bracket after back-to-back wins over Bandari and FC Talanta. Sharks on the other hand saw their unbeaten run brought to a halt a week ago when they suffered a last-minute loss to Kenya Police FC.
On Sunday they meet in a crunch match both teams will desperate to earn three points. In the last five league meetings, Sharks have managed three wins, KCB one while the other match has ended in a stalemate.
