While his classmates were panicking over the geography exam at school, River Plate's wonder, Franco Mastantuono, scored a free-kick banger against Boca Juniors, becoming the youngest-ever scorer in Superclasico

The next big thing in the football world comes from Argentina! Until two days ago, not many people heard of Franco Mastantuono, River Plate's gem. Now, every football fan knows his name, while the European giants are preparing to splash out tons of money for his transfer.

The 17-year-old broke the deadlock against Boca Juniors in the greatest match of Argentinian football - Superclasico - with a 30-meter free-kick banger, becoming the youngest-ever scorer in the derby and sending a message that he was ready for great things. River Plate eventually won the 265th edition of Superclasico 2-1, while the country of World Champions and the entire football world got a new magnificent talent.

Days after the match, the footage of Mastantuono's screamer is still being replayed over and over, while stories about him are springing up "like mushrooms after the rain." Yet, one of the most unbelievable ones is related to nothing else but school?!

Namely, River's wonderboy was supposed to take a geography exam in high school on the derby day, so his manager Marcelo Gallardo rang the school asking them to postpone it, as Mastantuono had a derby clash to start!

The school was apparently willing to help, as the teenager was in the XI, and the rest is history... Now, he can peacefully turn to studying geography, though his success may depend on his teacher's favourite club - if it's Boca, the teacher might be a bit angry, but if it's River, Mastantuono may not even need to take the exam.

Jokes aside, regardless of the colours anyone supports, on Sunday night, the world probably witnessed the birth of another marvellous career, and that's the only thing that matters - more than rivalry and more than geography.
