The 37-year-old full-back nails a superb goal to earn his side a draw against Nottingham Forest on Monday night (1-1)
It usually ends like this - two teams, both desperate to grab a win that would take them up from the downtown of the table, and it finishes with a draw.
Dissatisfying for both, but especially for the team that was in the lead. To be precise, it was the case with Nottingham Forest on Monday night, as the Premier League basement slot share spoils with Steven Gerrard's Aston Vila, 1-1.
Steve Cooper's slot was furious coming out of the starting brink, going 1-0 up after Emmanuel Dennis 15 minutes into the game. It was a charming header that caused eruption at the packed City Ground, as the Tricky Trees' fans hoped for the first win of the season.

However, former Manchester United player Ashley Young didn't think so, levelling the score only seven minutes later. An excellent effort left Forest's keeper with no chance of stopping the powerful shot and that home lead was torn into pieces.

The rest of the fixture saw both sides pushing for that crucial goal, but unlike the first half, the second period didn't provide us with much excitement. This draw is better than a loss, of course, but tonight's rivals will expect much more from the upcoming matches in order to get themselves out of the danger zone.
