Natalia had a meeting with Atletico's CEO Miguel Angel Gil with the renewal of the coach's contract on the agenda, as reported by Cadena SER.

Diego Pablo Simeone reached his 450th match as the head coach of Atletico in La Liga on Sunday. In total, he has been in charge of 640 matches on the red and white bench, making him the leader in the club's coaching statistics. The 53-year-old former Argentina international midfielder has also won the most titles in the club's history, and all of this in a single tenure. Although his current contract concludes at the end of this season, there is a plan to extend it. This is the intention of all parties involved. The team is performing well, the "cholismo" philosophy is thriving, and both the club and the coach are considering a contract renewal.
