It is, it really is he. Three years after his football retirement, the Belgian magician is transforming into a true beast...in a whole different sport

There was a time when 90 minutes felt like enough for Eden Hazard.

Now, apparently, it takes 167 kilometres.

The former Chelsea and Real Madrid playmaker marked the completion of a demanding ride in Mallorca in the most Hazard way possible - by grabbing a beer and emptying it in front of the camera, somewhere between exhaustion and satisfaction.

This is what life after football looks like for Hazard. Not entirely detached from the game, he still appears at charity events, still steps onto familiar pitches from time to time, but no longer defined by it either.

Cycling has quietly become part of that new rhythm, and Mallorca was just the latest example.

Before that, there was Mont Ventoux - a climb that does not need introduction to anyone even loosely familiar with cycling. Hazard took it on alongside his brothers, trading bursts of brilliance for sustained effort, step by step, turn by turn.

During his time at Chelsea, he made over 350 appearances, scored 110 goals, and collected silverware, which placed him among the defining players of an era, including two Premier League titles. His move to Real Madrid promised more, delivered less, and ultimately led to a quiet, early goodbye at 32.

However, even now, away from the spotlight, Hazard is still moving. Just in a different direction.
