Chelsea crushes Wolves by scoring more goals than they have points
Reading Time: 3min | Sun. 09.11.25. | 08:04
Wolverhampton are by far the weakest team in the Premier League, with just two points from 11 matches — this time Blues ran riot and won 3:0
When Alejandro Garnacho first appeared in a Manchester United shirt back in 2022, it quickly became clear that he was a young man with, to put it mildly, a very particular temperament. The Argentine often looks like he has little devils sitting on his shoulders, pushing him to pull pranks or do things that don’t exactly fit the spirit of fair play.
Garnacho may not be the kind of player young football academy kids should look up to because of his antics, but his footballing talent is undeniable.

Chelsea struggled in their Premier League Matchday 11 clash against a dispirited Wolverhampton side—one of the weakest teams among Europe’s top five leagues. They couldn’t break down the visitors’ resistance in the first half, but right at the start of the second, they did so with ease.
The aforementioned Garnacho was the key man, providing two assists. For the first goal, he completely outplayed Cameroonian full-back Jackson Chachu, delivered a perfect cross, and found Malo Gusto, who headed home in the 51st minute to make it 1–0. The goal is HERE!
Joao Pedro doubled the lead shortly after (the goal is HERE) with a powerful strike from inside the box, and Garnacho played a crucial part in the third goal as well—sprinting half the length of the pitch before setting up Pedro Neto who sealed the final score at 3–0. The goal is HERE!

The fact that Chelsea only managed to break the visitors’ resistance in the second half doesn’t necessarily have to be a worrying sign. Enzo Maresca’s team had just returned from a long trip to Azerbaijan, where they were held to a draw by a brave home side.
During that match in Baku, Romeo Lavia picked up an injury, forcing Moises Caicedo to come on much earlier than planned, and the Italian coach was unable to rest any of his key players at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium.
That’s why the hosts looked a bit heavy-legged today, but as the second half wore on, fatigue began to take its toll on the visitors instead—and in the end, the superior quality of the world champions prevailed.
