Cheers and booes for Mbappe, Messi looking from the stands: PSG wins against Strasbourg

The Parisians won 4-2 against relegation strugglers

Any PSG supporter who resold his ticket for Strasbourg match turned out to be double clever: he earned a lot of money (some tickets were around 1000 euros) and he didn’t see Lionel Messi, because Messi didn’t even suit up for the occasion. Whoever ended up at the Park the… saw the Argentinian (along with other new signings) in the middle of the field, just before the game, and also so a routine PSG win over relegation strugglers: PSG – Strasbourg 4-2.

Messi watched a dominant display from his teammates in company of his pal Neymar, who also didn’t feature, but down on the field, Mauro Icardi, Kylian Mbappe and Julian Draxler did the job after only 27 minutes. Speaking of the French international, he was booed by the Paris crowed before the match, when the official speaker read his name, but was later cheered when he scored (luckily) the second goal for Parisians.

From the newcomers, only Hakimi and Wijnaldum started the match, as PSG scored after only three minutes, after a suspicious goal from Icardi, whose score was not an offside, as confirmed by VAR. Mbappe was next on the scoresheet, as his shot was deflected enough to trick the goalkeeper, and the French international was cheered (this time) by the home crowd. When Draxler scored the third goal, everybody thought it would end in 2 or 3 more goals, and they were right, as the Parisian scored only one, and Strasbourg two. After Gameiro and Ajorque both managed to score against Navas, the game suddenly became more interested, but the guests just couldn’t score the third one, so Sarabia secured the win with a fourth goal for the home team and a final score 4-2.
