CECAFA Kagame Cup: Tusker drawn against Tanzanian and Sudanese opposition

Tusker will be up against Tanzanian moneybags Azam FC and Atlabara from South Sudan

Tusker FC will be Kenya's only representative in the tournament that is set to take place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from August 1 to 15th, 2021.

They have been drawn against Tanzanian side Azam FC and Atlabara from South Sudan. Defending champions KCCA from Uganda are in Pool A alongside Le Messager de Ngozi from Burundi and KMKM from Zanzibar.

Yanga from Tanzania and Express FC from Uganda are joined by invitational side Nyasa Big Bullets from Malawi.

The tournament is making a return after a two-year hiatus as CECAFA works hard to resuscitate it's regional tournament. The CECAFA U23 Tournament is on its closing stages in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia with Tannzania and Burudi set to face in the final while Kenya will be up against South Sudan in the third place play off on Friday afternoon.
