Reading Time: 4min | Sun. 01.02.26. | 19:10
Another wild ride for for the Old Trafford crew and, most importantly, third straight Premier League triumph - 3-2
Michael Carrick's Manchester United is a different beast with a new mindset and a winning mentality!
Did anyone even doubt that Fulham would fall short in the hell of Old Trafford today after Man City and Arsenal were brushed aside in the previous two weeks?
However, today's 3-2 win was another wild ride. The Red Devils went from a 2-0 lead, brought by Casemiro and Matheus Cunha, to 2-2 after Fulham's six-minute blitzkrieg (Raul Jimenez from the spot in the 85th and Kevin with a screamer in the first minute of added time).
Yet, Carrick's United didn't give up. They knew what they needed to do; they quickly woke up and handed a fatal blow to the visitors through sub Benjamin Sesko in the 94th minute, to the immense joy of the packed Old Trafford!

🔥😱 PURE. PREMIER LEAGUE. MADNESS. 😱🔥
Fulham thought they had stolen a point after fighting back from 2–0 down to make it 2–2…
BUT ❌ Šeško had other plans.
Late drama. Late goal. Late winner. 💥

After beating Manchester City and Arsenal in the previous two rounds, the Red Devils seemed determined to extend their Premier League winning streak against Fulham, showing that from the start of the match.
Amad Diallo and Harry Maguire's attempts inside the opening ten minutes and Bernd Leno's two saves perfectly depicted the home team's mindset, and it eventually gave the lead.
Nineteen minutes into the game, Matheus Cunha made a terrific solo run, Jorge Cuenca brought him down, and the referee John Brooks pointed to the spot. However, VAR intervened and overturned the decision, as the shirt-pulling had started outside the box.
Still, it turned out to be an even better outcome for United, as Casemiro met a perfect Bruno Fernandes' cross in Fulham's area, sending a skilful header straight into Leno's net - 1-0!
The Brazilian's goal ended up being the last notable moment in the first period, which deservedly went to the Red Devils.

The hosts thought they had a penalty for Jorge Cuenca's foul on Matheus Cunha, but it was overturned because it was outside of the 18-yard box...

The second 45 minutes began just like the first - with a chance for United. Nevertheless, this time Bryan Mbeumo failed to convert Diogo Dalot's timely pass, as Leno made a terrific point-blank save. Yet, Fulham responded soon with Harry Wilson's powerful free-kick strike, but Senne Lammens made a solid stop.
Those opportunities turned out to be only an introduction into another goal - once again in the visitors' net! This time, Casemiro provided an assist, and Cunha doubled United's lead in the 56th minute, paving the way for Michael Carrick's third straight win on the Red Devils' bench.
Seeing that even an eventual draw was slipping away from their hand, the Cottagers went for a quick response and managed to find the net over Cuenca in the 65th minute, but his goal didn't stand for offside.
Sixteen minutes before the end, Benjamin Sesko replaced Cunha, and only a minute later, with his first touch in the game, the Slovenian hit the post with a magnificent header.
Still, United didn't spare their fans from another dramatic finish, as Fulham pulled one back in the 85th minute thanks to Raul Jimenez's spot-kick goal, after Maguire's horrendous tackle on the Mexican in the box.
However, it was only the beginning of a thriller-finish at the Theatre of Dreams! A nine-minute added time hinted at a wild end of the match, while Kevin's 91st minute leveller brought the tension to the peak!
But Carrick's United has a different mindset. They never give up. And Marco Silva's crew felt it on its skin, as Sesko made it 3-2 just three minutes later and handed the visitors' a blow from which they couldn't bounce back!
