The Selecao seem ruthless at the moment, and their Real Madrid-based attacking axis looks incredibly inspired
Brazil are back - and they've done it with flair. After securing their World Cup ticket against Paraguay in June, the Selecao have started to look like the five-time champions the world remembers. And in Seoul tonight, Carlo Ancelotti's side gave a performance worthy of their yellow shirts: pure samba, pure domination, pure joy... and 5-0 against South Korea.
It was Brazil's most dazzling win since another October 10th, five years ago, when they put the same scoreline past Bolivia. And this time, even without big names like Raphinha, Marquinhos, and Alisson, Ancelotti's men showed that talent runs deep in the veins of Brazilian football.

The night belonged to 18-year-old Estevao, the latest wonderkid from Palmeiras and now a Chelsea player, who scored twice and confirmed why the Blues paid €45 million for him. Add to that two goals from Rodrygo and one from Vinicius Junior, and the future of Brazil looks bright - and fast.
Estevao opened the party in the 13th minute after a brilliant through ball from Bruno Guimaraes. Soon after, Rodrygo made it 2-0, spinning past defenders after a breathtaking combination with Vinicius and Casemiro.

The script repeated after halftime: Estevao, then Rodrygo, before Vinicius added the fifth to seal a night of samba and smiles.
Mateus Cunha didn't score, but the Selecao didn't need him to. Casemiro and Guimaraes ruled the midfield, while Militao, Gabriel, and Douglas Santos kept Bento almost unemployed between the sticks. South Korea managed just one shot on target all night.

Even the late changes, Paqueta, Richarlison, and Igor Jesus, didn't slow the rhythm. Brazil kept dancing until the final whistle.
Carlo Ancelotti can sleep well tonight. His Brazil is not just winning - they're entertaining again.
