The Real Madrid forward was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age of 15, and now she becomes the second-youngest player to score at WWC

It was one of those magic nights (or days, depending on where you live, Kenya or New Zealand) when everything is possible, and football produces epic moments that will go down in history.

Colombia defeated South Korea in Group H 2-0, but it was all about their teenage star Linda Caicedo, 18, who killed the game and thus became the second-youngest player ever to score at World Cup. Three years prior, Caicedo - now playing for Real Madrid - won the most important battle of her life, surviving ovarian cancer at the age of only 15.

In another moment for the history books, 16-year-old South Korean Casey Phair became the youngest-ever player in the Women's World Cup when she went on as a second-half substitute.

However, it was too late to save their side from the fourth WC opening loss in a row, as Caicedo and Catalina Usme netted before the interval to kickstart their campaign with a win.
