Despite the links to Leverkusen and Juventus, Chelsea's forward is reportedly the closest to joining Fulham on another loan
Some would say that Raheem Sterling is used to playing only for the so-called "Big Six" clubs. After all, he's the only player alongside Nicolas Anelka to have played for Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea, and Arsenal. Still, given that his career is going drastically south, he'll have to relax his criteria if he wants to revive it.
And the team that could help him achieve that is none other than Fulham!

According to The Telegraph, Sterling and Arsenal's Reiss Nelson are key names on the Cottagers' shortlist for the ongoing transfer window, so they'll almost certainly try to push through a loan deal.
Truth be told, the 30-year-old has been linked to Bayer Leverkusen and Juventus, but those moves are less likely to happen, primarily because of Chelsea. Namely, according to FIFA's rules, a club can loan a maximum of six players to foreign sides.
Given that the Blues have several loan deals with their (in a way) affiliate club, Strasbourg, and that they have already sent Carney Chukwuemeka on loan to Borussia Dortmund, Sterling might be forced to stay in England.
In the end, it would probably work better for the player as well since he never played for a non-EPL club, so any move abroad would require additional adaptation.
