Excentric defender takes a trophy celebration to a whole new level

There was never a dilemma if Felipe Melo was an ordinary guy. No, he never was and never will be. Excentric, provocative, passion-fueled, always ready to engage in a trash-talk amid the important games and - last but not least - super capable of delivering awkward celebrations.

The former Juventus, Inter and Galatasaray defender has just won the second Copa Libertadores trophy in a row with his Palmeiras. For the 38-year-old centre-back, there was no better way of bowing out, as his contract expires on New Years' Eve, and he'll retire after that.

But Melo wouldn't be Melo if he wouldn't make some controversial move near the end.

So the Brazilian footballer put on a show, taking his two 'babies' to bed - two Palmeiras' Copa Libertadores giant trophies.

Some seriously crazy stuff from him, we must say. We'll miss this guy's eccentricity, for sure.
