Despite being a goal down, the South African club was dealt a blow 30 minutes in the first half when Rhoda Mulaudzi was handed her marching order following a poor challenge on Redouani. Their number was further reduced to nine players seven minutes into the second half with captain Nhlapho being sent for an early shower also after picking a second booking, again for a foul on Redouani.

Ibtissam Jraidi scored a second half hattrick to see the match end 4-0, adding to her previous tally of three goals to make it six in total and go home with the golden-boot as well as a third Woman of the Match award in the competition.

Harambee Starlets midfielder Corazone Aquino had her place in the starting 11, with her compatriot Topister Situma having to settle for a place on the bench.
