Vihiga Queens are still at the helm after extending their unbeaten run to four on the weekend.
Agnes Olesi’s strike was all Bunyore Starlets needed to go past Nakuru City Queens, bagging maximum points to move to second place on nine points in the Women Premier League (WPL).
Bunyore headed to the Sunday 29 October match in fourth place, chasing a third win in four matches against a Nakuru side that was also looking to get back to winning ways after their 5-0 thrashing in round three to Ulinzi Starlets.

Elsewhere, Kibera Soccer Ladies and Ulinzi Starlets played to a 1-1 draw on at Wolves Den. The Joseph Wambua-coached military side took the lead in the 45th minute, Neddy Atieno’s long-range effort finding the back of the net.
The tables turned in the second half, however, as Kibera played a different ball game as they sought the equalizer. Their breakthrough came through a sublime free kick by Lilian Mmboga in the 85th minute.
In other matches, Madira Soccer Assassins came from behind to secure a point at home to Zetech Sparks. Sparks took the lead with a Beverly Akech strike in the first half. Assassins, however, found an equalizer in the 77th minute through a Hellen Auma penalty.
Newbies Bungoma Queens bagged their first maximum points without kicking a ball as troubled Trans Nzoia Falcons who were to travel from Kitale to Sudi for the match were a no-show, handing the first walkover of the season.
In Saturday’s matches, defending champions Vihiga Queens secured a 2-0 win over Gaspo Women. A brace from Janet Moraa proved to be the difference.
Police Bullets continued their winning streak by beating Wadadia 3-1.
