Bundesliga is fine, but Germany's third tier is place of actual party

TSV Munich 1860 provided us with one of the most bizarre moments of the weekend in entire Europe

When you think you've seen it all, the German lower-league football manages to hit the sealing.

This time, it was the third tier and two former Bundesliga teams, TSV Munich 1860 and Hanover 96. The former, Bayern Munich's neighbours, are going through tough times, doing their best to avoid the relegation. Yesterday, they defeated Hanover's U-23 side 3-1 at their ground.

Of course, we're not interested in writing a report about a game in the German's third division, but that awkward moment in the 48th minute definitely deserved our attention.

TSV Munich had a corner from the left and their captain, Verlaat, headed it home superbly in the heart of the box. Alas, the ball hit his own teammate, Maier, on the way to the back of the net, on the very touchline. That's the reason the referee decided to disallow the goal, which resulted in vocal complaints from the visitors.

You don't see such things very often...
