Brazil without a single Real Madrid player? Carletto has just made it happen

Additionally, Neymar is also out of the squad due to an injury, but there are as many as 12 Premier League players

Until recently, Carlo Ancelotti was coaching Real Madrid, and Brazil's squad couldn't be imagined without their players. However, now, the Italian is the Selecao boss, and not a single name from Los Blancos' ranks is on the list of players he counts on for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Yes, you read it right - no Vinicius Jr, no Rodrygo, no Eder Militao.

The latter two got time to rest, as did Vini, though he was suspended for the first match against the last-placed Chile (September 5, 03.30), in any case. Five days later, Brazil will face another mediocre rival, Bolivia, so Ancelotti has probably felt confident enough to leave Madrid's superstars out of the squad.

Additionally, Neymar has also been written off because of a thigh injury he recently suffered.

However, almost half of the called-up players come from the English Premier League - 12/25!

Apart from the "unchallenged" ones, like Alisson, Gabriel Magalhaes, Bruno Guimaraes, Casemiro, Joelinton, Lucas Paqueta, Matheus Cunha, Richarlison, and Gabriel Martinelli, Ancelotti included three Chelsea players in the squad: the prospects Estevao and Andrey Santos as well as Joao Pedro, who's lately been one of the best Blues' players.
