Newcastle United forward won't be a part of the black and white team on their pre-season tour of the Far East
Alexander Isak has told Newcastle United that he wants to explore a move away from the club, Mail Sport reports on Thursday.
The 25-year-old striker has not travelled with the squad on their pre-season tour of the Far East due to 'a thigh injury' earlier in the week.
Still, Mail Sport claims the club's hierarchy is aware of Isak's desire to consider his options in this transfer window, with Liverpool being highly interested in signing him.

The Sweden international still has three years to run on his St. James' Park contract.
An offer from Liverpool or any club in the region of £150m could trigger a transfer move.
Isak missed Newcastle's 4-0 defeat at Celtic on the weekend after the Magpies' boss, Eddie Howe, said the player had been allowed to return home amid speculation about his future. However, Howe said that after that game, he expected Isak to travel to Singapore and South Korea.
The forward has scored 62 goals from 109 matches for Newcastle.
