The club on Thursday, 1 January announced that the forward, who joined Ingwe in September, had undergone surgery after tearing his Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) in a team training session in November.
Last season’s National Super League (NSL) top scorer underwent surgery on 9 December, effectively ruling him out of his debut season in the top-tier league.
Ingwe, while providing more detail on the injury, said the former Fortune Sacco man had a complete ACL rupture, Grade Three tear of medial meniscus and partial tear of the Lateral Collateral Ligament Complex.
His latest setback comes amid a slow start to his time at the den, where he struggled to find the net before his injury.

Also on the same front, AFC announced that their left back - Vincent Mahiga - was out of the team’s upcoming fixture against Kakamega Homeboyz on Sunday, 4 January with an ankle injury.
Mahiga, who sustained the injury in an FKF Premier League match against Kariobangi Sharks on 23 November, is said to be awaiting further checks on his status.
On a positive note however, Ingwe are set to see the swift return of defender Fredrick Alushula, following his resumption to team training after a lengthy spell out with a knee injury.
Alushula, who primarily plays as a right back, was in June ruled out for the rest of the year, having suffered a grade two tear of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus.
The former Kariobangi Sharks man picked up the injury during their Mozzart Bet Cup Round of 16 tie against Mara Sugar in March.
Heading into the first game of 2026 at Nyayo Stadium, Leopards lead the log with 24 points from 13 matches, and have only lost once this season.
