The Thika-based club hosted the National Super League (NSL) champions in a Premier League match played on Monday, 6 October at the St. Sebastian Park, Murang'a.
The match was Naibois’ second domestic clash of the season after competing in the CAF Confederation Cup (CAFCC), where they progressed to the second preliminary phase.
Bidco began the match on a high and were rewarded in the second minute of the encounter through Herman Ngala after a neat interplay passage on the left wing with Victor Kunyili.
Naibois responded through a series of attacks and possession, Frank Ouya and Shami Mwinyi threatening, but with little reward by the quarter-hour mark.
In the 34th minute, Brian Sifa was lucky not to receive a booking after a cynical foul on Idriss Amadi, who had gotten away from him.
Ovella Ochieng also had the opportunity to draw the reigning Mozzart Bet Cup winners level through two free kicks, but only one hit the target, which Issa Emuria parried away for a corner in the 42nd minute to ensure Bidco headed to the break with their lead intact.
Nairobi United increased their tempo and urgency in the second half and got early chances with Frank Ouya notably heading an Ovella cross wide in the 48th minute.
Naibois captain Daniel Bichiok would then receive a booking in the 50th minute for a foul outside the box that Bidco failed to capitalise on.
Both teams made a series of changes, Bidco to consolidate their lead while Naibois were desperately looking for an equaliser and possibly a winner.
As the final whistle drew closer, Naibois threw the kitchen sink at Bidco, but the Kevin Ouma-marshalled defense held firm to ensure the Oilers picked maximum points from the match.
The win ensured Bidco’s perfect start to the season continued, rising to fourth on the log while Naibois are 13th with three points.
