The team will feature alongside 27 other teams battling for top honours in the league.
Soccer outfit BF Suma FC unveiled a strategic three-year plan that will see them scale the levels of success to the nation's top-flight football.
The team that is supported by global nutraceutical firm BF Suma will kick off their campaign with the FKF Nairobi East sub-county league this weekend battling with 27 teams for promotion.
BF Suma Africa president Susan Onyancha has pledged full support for the team in their journey adding that they will tap talent nationwide to beef up the squad.
"The football club is very key to me because they have started from very humble beginnings. Our desire is to support them to a level wherein a few years we see them playing in the national leagues," said Onyancha.
Team manager Victor Mali believes their preparations for the league have been adequate and the squad is ready for action.
"We have been working on our striking as well as defense and I am confident of a good showing from Saturday. We have played several friendly matches against top sides in the National Super League (NSL) and posted good results and that gives us confidence ahead of the league," said Mali.
Based in Eastlands' Bahati area, the team draws most of its squad members from the informal settlements in a bid to drive societal change and rid them of vices such as drug and substance abuse as well as crime.
