The Portuguese midfielder’s contract with Manchester City expires next year, and speculation is already rife about where he could continue his career — there are plenty of suitors
According to Calciomercato, both Juventus and AC Milan have quietly approached the agent of the Bernardo Silva to gauge the possibility of a transfer. Silva’s contract with Manchester City runs until 2026, which means he could leave on a free transfer next year. While no official negotiations have started, the two Italian giants are keen to understand early whether a move is feasible.
The main obstacle: Silva currently earns around 10 million euros net per year, a figure that would be challenging for Serie A clubs to match. As reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Portuguese midfielder continues to attract lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia. Silva has apparently made it clear that he does not intend to extend his City contract — raising questions about a potential exit from the Premier League.

Clubs like Al-Ahli and Al-Qadsiah are said to be offering him an astonishing 500 thousand euros per week. In the past, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain also showed interest, but both clubs have since dropped their pursuit.
Silva joined Manchester City from Monaco in 2017 and quickly became a key figure under Pep Guardiola. Across 416 competitive appearances, he has scored 72 goals, provided 74 assists, and lifted six Premier League titles along with the 2023 Champions League. Following Kevin De Bruyne’s move to SSC Napoli, Silva was even named captain this season, reflecting his leadership and importance at the club.
