England have already secured their World Cup ticket, but Thomas Tuchel called up a very strong side for the last two qualifying games
Thomas Tuchel is calling in the big guns. England's coach has brought Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden back into his squad for the final World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Albania - the team's last stop before the road to North America 2026 truly begins.
After weeks of debate and pressure, Tuchel has restored his two creative leaders. Bellingham, finally fit after shoulder surgery, returns to the heart of the Three Lions. Foden, in electric form for Manchester City, is also back - fresh from scoring twice in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund.

There's also a new name that’s stirring excitement: Alex Scott, Bournemouth's young midfielder, earns his first senior call-up after shining in the Premier League and helping the Cherries reach fifth place.
But not everyone makes the cut. Jack Grealish, currently on loan at Everton, stays out. Trent Alexander-Arnold, now with Real Madrid, also misses out again, while Tuchel opted to ignore calls to bring back Brighton striker Danny Welbeck.
Alongside Scott, there are recalls for Nick Pope, Nico O'Reilly, and Adam Wharton. On the other hand, Morgan Gibbs-White, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, James Trafford, and Ollie Watkins all drop out from the October list.
Tuchel's choice to bring Bellingham back has a touch of reconciliation. The midfielder had been left out last month, shortly after Tuchel had to apologise for describing his "on-field behavior" as repulsive in August. "No problem with Jude," Tuchel said then - and his latest list proves it.
England have already secured their ticket to the 2026 World Cup, thrashing Latvia in their last outing. The Three Lions will face Serbia at Wembley on November 13, then travel to Albania three days later - two tests that will close their qualifying campaign and shape the squad for next year's global stage.
