Bayern lose it when they're hungry, so they ate five-star Hamburger

After scoring four goals before the break, the Bavarians hit the brakes and had mercy on the visitors, netting only once in the second half - 5-0
In the last ten years, Hamburger seem to have been Bayern's favourite rival. Two times, the Bavarians bagged eight goals in HSV's net, and once they hit the mark on six occasions. Tonight was the second time they "treated" the Hamburg side with five goals in its net.
Still, Vincent Kompany's men were 4-0 up already at the break, so the impression is that they refused to humiliate the rivals after the break, although they probably could have scored a double-digit number of goals.
Before the break, goals came one after another, and the scorers were various: Serge Gnabry, Aleksandar Pavlovic, Harry Kane from the spot, and Luis Diaz.
In the second half, the English striker completed a brace and that was it, as the Bavarians showed mercy. On the other hand, HSV remain the only Bundesliga side that has yet to score in the current campaign.

Already after 40 seconds and HSV defender Aboubaka Soumahoro's yellow card, it was clear what kind of game we'd watch in Munich. Just two minutes later, Bayern broke the deadlock! Serge Gnabry received the ball on the right side of the box, nutmegged one of the rivals, and unleashed a missile into the visitors' custodian Daniel Heuer Fernandes' top-right corner.
In the ninth minute, it was already 2-0. Harry Kane recorded an assist, setting Aleksandar Pavlovic up for a one-on-one situation, which the German exploited to score his maiden goal of the season.
Bayern's chances were coming one after another, and most of them ended up behind Fernandes' back. In the 26th minute, Kane scored from the spot, following Soumahoro's handball in the box, while Luis Diaz netted three minutes later, after the ball deflected off Luka Vuskovic and tricked HSV's keeper.
The Bavarians had mercy in the final 15 minutes before the break, so the visitors were "only" 4-0 down at halftime.
After the break, Vincent Kompany's men evidently hit the brakes, not wanting to humiliate the visitors completely. Hence, they netted only once in the second 45 minutes over Kane after one of the Bavarians' rare counterattacks.
On the other hand, given that the home team was more relaxed, HSV got a chance to play football and occasionally attack and threaten. At the same time, the Belgian strategist used the comfortable situation his crew had to give a chance to bench warmers like Tom Bischof and Lennart Karl. Nicolas Jackson also clocked his first minutes with his new side, though he made no notable impact.
