The talented Englishman has attracted the attention of numerous top clubs with his performances at the City Ground
Bayern Munich would need to spend big to pull this deal off. As reported by the English "Daily Mail," the Bundesliga giants have placed Nottingham Forest’s highly rated youngster Elliot Anderson on their radar.
Recent reports suggest that Bayern are stepping up their interest, but securing the midfielder wouldn’t come cheap — a fee in the region of €80 million is being mentioned. With Leon Goretzka set to leave the club when his contract expires this summer, Anderson is viewed as a possible successor to the German international.

Still, that scenario appears more speculative than realistic at this stage. Bayern are aiming to reduce overall squad expenses, and a move for Anderson would likely stretch their financial plans too far.
The 23-year-old joined Forest from Newcastle United in 2024 for €41.2 million and has since developed rapidly. He has become a key figure in the team, contributing two goals and three assists across 39 appearances in all competitions this season. His performances have also earned him recognition at international level, with England boss Thomas Tuchel showing faith in the young midfielder.
Anderson himself spoke about his future in February: “Right now I’m just focused on my football , on my performances and on giving everything for Nottingham Forest. That’s all that’s on my mind.”
Manchester clubs are already circling ahead of the summer window, and Elliot Anderson is quickly becoming one of the hottest names on the market.

Looking back on the past two years, he said: “They have been two eventful years. I think I've done pretty well in my time here, both on and off the pitch. I believe I've also matured as a person.”
Despite Nottingham Forest’s struggles near the bottom of the table (currently 17th), Anderson’s form hasn’t gone unnoticed. Several top clubs are reportedly monitoring him closely, with Manchester City and Manchester United among the most interested. Where he ends up next remains an open question.
