Julien Duranville has just made his senior debut with Anderlecht, but it was enough for mighty Bayern Munich to get involved

It's becoming utterly bizarre. Back in the days, you needed at least a sole season of second to none performances to attract the giants' attention. However, now a single game is enough. Or just only a couple of minutes, to be precise.

At least, that's the case with the new Belgium gem Julien Duranville, 16. The teenager has been capped for the U16 national team, and a couple of days ago - in the ultimate game of the Belgium top division - he made his senior debut for RSC Anderlecht in the derby against Club Brugge, coming in from the bench for the last ten minutes.

And now, according to various reports, he has become the transfer target of Bayern Munich. The German powerhouse apparently offers 15 million euros for the forward, who's still far away from his 18th birthday. That would make him the fourth most expensive U-16 player in the world.

Duranville was born in Belgium to an Ivorian father and Congolese mother. He is product of the much-praised Anderlecht youth academy, signing his first contract with the club in May 2021.
