The Blaugrana face Las Palmas in the last match of the day (11 pm), and their boss has got some interesting views

Barcelona has successfully returned to the La Liga title race, exploiting the fact Real Madrid slipped more than once in the recent past. Tonight, it's time for the Blaugrana's visit to Las Palmas, where they are looking for another victory ahead of some crucial derbies in March.

Their coach Hansi Flick has become a true hero among the club's fanbase, as he managed to transform not just their style of play but also the team's mentality.

His words and statements are heard and oftenly spread far away from Camp Nou. Like this time, when he talked about how much he likes handball, and which lessons we should pick up from that particular sport.

The reason behind this statement is the need for much greater respect for the refrees in football.

"We should learn from sports like handball in terms of how the referee is treated," he said. The German coach, in fact, pointed out that we should follow the example of handball: "I really like handball and we should learn a lot from that sport. The referee calls a foul, the ball falls to the ground and, OK, we defend. You can't waste time and waste energy with protests," he explained.
