The Blaugrana celebrate a 5-0 win as Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez score a brace. Rashford misses an empty net

Cesc Fabregas suffered quite a slap in the face from his former side, as Barcelona tore down Como in a Joan Gamper Trophy final 5-0 on Sunday night.

Hansi Flick's boys bulldozed the Serie A side in the final pre-season test ahead of the start of the new La Liga season. Barca will start their title defence next Saturday at Mallorca.

Tonight, they dominated the game straight from the start, cruising to a convincing 4-0 half-time lead, which guaranteed Barcelona a fourth victory in these friendlies.

Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez scored a brace, and Raphinha added one more goal for the statement win.

Marcus Rashford has been handed a first start, but he'll probably remember this match by a second-half sitter as he missed an empty net after smoothly going past Como's keeper.

Still, the former Manchester United forward did more than a decent job when he burst away on the right-hand side before perfectly deploying Raphinha to score.

Of course, Lamine Yamal was impeccable again, proving once more that his brilliance is yet to shine in the highest fashion possible.
