We are delighted to confirm that @AndyTCarroll has rejoined the Royals on a short-term contract! 🤩
Let’s go! 💪
And the latest chapter sounds familiar - Reading FC. Yes, the very same outfit he played for between November 2021 and January 2022.
According to British media, he has agreed on a short-term spell until the middle of January 2023.
Between the two Reading spells, Caroll spent a couple of months at West Bromwich Albion.
The former Liverpool and Newcastle striker obviously is into those short stints, mostly in the EFL Championship.
Carroll was recently in the spotlight as it was rumoured he was going to make a return to the Premier League by joining Wolves.
The 33-year-old Geordie was also close to a move to Club Brugge in Belgium but reportedly failed a medical, scuppering any chance of him playing in the Champions League this season.
