Awful and disgusting prelude of the Madrid cup derby: Atleti fans hang mannequin wearing Vincius Jr shirt from road bridge

Instead of talking about some sensational one-on-one duels in prospect and the inspiring match in general, the Copa del Rey derby between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid - scheduled for tonight at the Santiago Bernabeu - has got nothing but dreadful stains on itself.

Vinicius Jr demands severe punishment for the Atletico Madrid fans for racial slurs

During the first Madrid (La Liga) derby of the season, some Atleti fans were seen singing 'Vinicius, you are a monkey' ahead of the game.

Now Vinicius has been the object of their hatred once more - Los Colchoneros' fans hung a banner at a road bridge with the slogan 'Madrid hates Real'. Hanging below that banner was a mannequin wearing a Vinicius Jr shirt!

Some Spanish media report that the 'Frente Atletico' group are likely behind the incident. With ties to the far right and a history of violence, the group remain highly active. Their posters have been hung around Madrid with the same slogan, as per Diario AS.
