Spurs defender was not happy with Jose Mourinho's decision during the Liverpool match

What a night for Tottenham! First, they lost at home to Liverpool, in a battle for a Champions League spot, then their best player Harry Kane injured both knees, and then the players had a heated argument at halftime, after which Serge Aurier left the stadium.

According to Daily Mail, Tottenham players were involved in a fiery half-time inquest during the loss to Liverpool in scenes that resulted in Serge Aurier storming out of the stadium at half-time. There was fury at the poor defensive errors that led to Roberto Firmino's opener just before the break which sparked angry exchanges between players. Spurs manager Jose Mourinho decided to substitute Aurier at half-time with Harry Winks, which seemed to anger the Ivorian to the point that he left the stadium.

Tottenham head coach then had to answer questions about the half-time talk and mood in the dressing room.

It’s the mood of a team that it was difficult to accept you are losing, difficult to accept the nature of the goal because the goal is in some aspects a replica of the chance they had in the first minute. So it’s, of course, a mood where people are not happy - but then we have to move. Then Harry is injured and we need to try to do something. Unlucky that we started the second half conceding a goal” said Mourinho.

The Portuguese will certainly be very angry with the Aurier for his behavior and since the incident was reported after the match, we still don’t have comments from “both” sides. One thing is certain: Spurs are in crisis again. The negative result, along with the unrest in the dressing room and injury to Kane will make it difficult for Mourinho.

Spurs' best striker will have to be fully assessed and only after that, it will be clear how long will he be away from the field.

Two ankles, the first was a bad tackle, it was Thiago, the second one I didn't know well. But two injuries in both ankles, the second one worst than the first one - a few weeks, I don't know. For Harry to leave a game when he wants to play - it's a nothing injury. How long we have to wait and see” said Jose after the match.

Next up for the Spurs is an away match at Brighton, a tough team who is always capable of taking a point (or three) from the big guns. This game will be huge for Tottenham because after that, they play against Chelsea.
