Mouad Ellafi, the custodian of Al-Ittihad, gets sent off for one of the most horrendous tackles in the history of the game on his compatriot Hamdou Elhouni of Esperance
Yes, it's been a while, but this kind of content never gets old enough to be sent to recycle bin. The recent CAF Champions League tie between the Lybian Al-Ittihad and the Tunisian Esperance provided us with some shocking scenes that went viral this weekend thanks to enormous attention on social media.
And, in truth, no wonder it became so shared because the tackle of Al Ittihad's keeper Mouad Ellafi on his compatriot Hamdou Elhouni is probably one of the most horrendous we've ever seen.

What a shame pundits and journos seldomly use that phrase 'he should be sent to jail for that' because this particular karate kick is the one that truly deserves that kind of punishment. A regular red card is too mild for this level of savage behaviour.
Ellafi has visited Elhouni - who's in a good condition now - to apologize and wishing him speedy recovery. pic.twitter.com/wBfTpgjcne
