Vallecano's shot-stopper Stole Dimitrievski made an incredible effort to push his side to a massive draw at Real Madrid
Real Madrid missed the chance to claim the top spot in La Liga as they were shockingly held to a 0-0 home draw with Rayo Vallecano on Sunday night at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Madrid-based minnows made a short trip across the Spanish capital and managed to extend their unbeaten league run to eight games and avoid a La Liga loss at Real Madrid for the first time since 2000!

The home side made a strong start, with Joselu forcing a superb stop from Rayo keeper Stole Dimitrievski before the break. It was just the start of Stole's incredible night against Los Blancos, as the same shot-stopper turned into a proper nightmare for Valverde, Bellingham, Vinicius Jr. and others.

Stats show Rayo didn't fire a single shot on target but won't regret considering the outcome. On the other hand, the Royals had 25, but Dimitrievski stood in their way. Moreover, Stole had kept a clean sheet against Barcelona, too. To be more specific - against the Catalans, he managed to do it three times in a row! Against Real Madrid tonight for the first time.
