Mikel Arteta’s side continues to string together victories, this time with Burnley falling 2–0, while on the other side, Sean Dyche brought Manchester United’s winning streak to an end with a 2–2 draw
We saw two very different matches today — while Arsenal cruised past Burnley 2–0 thanks to goals from Rice and Gyokeres, the clash between Nottingham Forest and Manchester United was a real rollercoaster. United took the lead, then Forest turned it around, before it all ended in a 2–2 draw.
Arsenal took full control in the first half at Turf Moor, heading into the break with a well-deserved 2–0 lead over Burnley after a composed and dominant display.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 14th minute with a move straight off the training ground. From a Declan Rice corner to the back post, Gabriel smartly nodded the ball back across goal, where Viktor Gyokeres was perfectly positioned to head home from close range. It was Arsenal’s 12th goal from a set piece in 17 Premier League games, a testament to their efficiency on dead-ball situations. The goal is HERE!

Just a few minutes later, Arsenal threatened again. In the 21st minute, Leandro Trossard played a clever pass to Riccardo Calafiori inside the box, but the defender’s delayed shot was deflected before Burnley’s goalkeeper managed to push it away.
The pressure continued in the 23rd minute, when Bukayo Saka broke through one-on-one with Dubravka, only for the Burnley keeper to stand tall and make a vital block.
Arsenal came close again in the 32nd minute after a slick combination between Rice, Zubimendi, and Eberechi Eze. Saka’s initial shot was saved by Dubravka, and although Gyokeres and Trossard tried to finish off the rebound, Burnley defenders Hartwell and Laurent made heroic clearances off the line to keep their side alive.

However, Burnley’s resistance finally broke again in the 35th minute. After Gabriel’s headed clearance launched a counterattack, Gyokeres found Trossard on the wing, and the Belgian delivered a perfect cross into the box. Arriving late, Declan Rice met it with a precise header into the far corner to make it 2–0. The goal is HERE!

Arsenal nearly extended their lead in the 38th minute, when another fast break saw Gyokeres hold up play and set up Eze, whose effort was deflected just wide.
Gunners managed the second half with maturity and control, comfortably protecting their lead as the match finished with a 2–0 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor.
The visitors nearly added a third in the 56th minute, when Declan Rice sent a long diagonal pass to Leandro Trossard. The Belgian showed excellent close control before unleashing a low strike from 20 yards, but Dubravka was well-positioned to make a routine save.

Burnley’s best opportunity of the match came in the 73rd minute. After a long ball into the box, Esteve headed it back into a dangerous area, where Florentino rose highest. However, with plenty of space and time, his header went just wide of the post — a huge missed chance for the hosts to get back into the game.
Arsenal continued to threaten on the counter as the game opened up. In the 82nd minute, young Ethan Nwaneri led a quick break, driving to the edge of the box before curling a shot narrowly wide of the far post.

Manchester United went into halftime with a narrow 1–0 lead over Nottingham Forest after a first half that offered plenty of action on both ends.

The game got off to a lively start. In the 3rd minute, Benjamin Sesko had the first opportunity of the match after being set up by Bryan Mbeumo, but his shot was deflected wide. Nottingham responded quickly—Nikola Milenkovic rose highest in the 7th minute to meet a cross into the box, yet his header went over the bar.
Moments later, Ndoye tested United’s goalkeeper Lammens with a powerful effort from the right side, but the shot was well saved.

Forest suffered a setback in the 12th minute when Douglas Luiz was forced off with an injury, disrupting their midfield rhythm. Despite that, they kept pushing forward, and Callum Hudson-Odoi tried his luck from distance in the 15th minute, only to send the ball high over the crossbar.

Barely three minutes after the restart, Forest struck back to equalize. In the 48th minute, Anderson found Ndoye on the flank, who combined brilliantly with Yates. The midfielder whipped in a perfect cross, and Morgan Gibbs-White rose above the defense to head home a superb goal, making it 1–1. The goal is HERE!
Just two minutes later, the hosts completed a stunning comeback. In the 50th minute, Ndoye once again delivered a dangerous ball into the box. Manchester United tried to respond, and in the 61st minute, they came agonizingly close. Bruno Fernandes unleashed a thunderous long-range strike that rattled the right post — a reminder of how quickly the visitors could punish any lapse.
United kept pushing, and their persistence finally paid off in the 81st minute. After a scramble in the box, the ball broke kindly for Amad Diallo, who struck it first time on the volley, firing past Sels to make it 2–2. The goal is HERE!

In the dying moments, Diallo had the chance to become Manchester United’s hero. After a quick attacking move, the ball fell to him inside the box, and his shot looked destined for the back of the net — but Murillo produced a brilliant goal-line clearance to deny him and save Forest from defeat.
