Although Vincent Kompany's Clarets shockingly restored parity early in the second half following Trossard's opening goal, it was no more than a blip that the north London team overcame in style. This time, there were no shocking VAR decisions, tensions and arguments - for a change!

Good goals from the immense Saliba and an acrobatic volley from Zinchenko ensured a relaxed ending of the game at the Emirates.
The first half concluded with a dramatic turn of events as Leandro Trossard scored a crucial goal for Arsenal. A well-placed header from very close range found the top left corner, putting Arsenal in the lead.
Burnley didn't back down, and Josh Brownhill levelled the score with a left-footed shot from the centre of the box, finding the bottom left corner. Kompany hoped it was a sign of his team's comeback, but it turned out to be just a delay of the inevitable.

The see-saw battle continued as defender William Saliba restored Arsenal's lead with a header from very close range. Leandro Trossard provided the assist with a well-placed cross following a corner. Just when it seemed like the first half was winding down, Arsenal extended their lead with a goal from Oleksandr Zinchenko. A left-footed shot from the centre of the box found the top right corner.
