The Red Devils urgently need a striker, and one of their alleged targets is the Blues' Senegalese, although his goal-scoring skills are questionable to say the least
It's true that desperate times call for desperate measures, but Man United seem to have reached the bottom of desperation...
The Red Devils urgently need a striker, given that Ruben Amorim can by no means rely on Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee. Viktor Gyokeres reportedly wants only Arsenal, Victor Osimhen permanently joined Galatasaray, Alexander Isak is close to Al Hilal, while the situations around Ollie Watkins and Benjamin Sesko are still vague.
So, United's management allegedly turned to none other than Nicolas Jackson?!
There are several clubs reportedly interested in Nicolas Jackson, including Manchester United 👀

Chelsea value him between £80m and 100m and he has 8 years remaining on his contract 💸 pic.twitter.com/U24UOpRCgv
Chelsea's striker did score 13 goals in 37 appearances last season, but somehow his misses most often made headlines throughout the previous campaign. Moreover, he hit the woodwork six times in the Premier League last season - more than any other player in the European top five leagues.
Bad luck or poor finishing, who can tell?
And while the Red Devils' interest initially seems desperate, it gets even worse after seeing the price Chelsea put on Jackson...
Considering today's pricing trends regarding strikers and the fact that the 24-year-old has eight years left on his contract, the Blues demand £80-100 million!
At first glance, too much for the player of Jackson's quality. At the second glance, the impression is the same. Yet, United are an interested party, and who knows, perhaps the Senegalese will become a genuine net-buster at Old Trafford.
