Visitors Bomet, who came in riding on a five-match winning streak, were again on the rampage, thanks to two second half goals from Hillary Juma, which all but confirmed the team’s place in the FKF Premier League next season.
Following a barren draw at the break, former Kakamega Homeboyz attacking midfielder broke the deadlock in the 67th minute, before adding a second in the first minute of stoppage time, to secure another win and clean sheet for Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo’s side.
Added to the three points was yet another cash reward for the team, following onto CS and club patron Kipchumba Murkomen’s pledge to award Ksh50,000 to every player and official in the match day squad for every win across their last five matches of the season.
The win over the Dockers was Bomet’s third-straight over that period, following onto their 1-0 and 2-0 victories over KCB and Mathare United respectively.
APS Bomet players and coaching staff have each received a Ksh 50,000 bonus following today’s victory over Bandari FC in Kwale.

The monetary promise, which averages Ksh1.85 million per win, was aimed at helping the team retain its top flight status, with the club looking a sure-fire candidate for the drop, having struggled for form beforehand.
That trick looks to have bore instant fruits, with a run of nine games without defeat, and only goal conceded within that run, lifting Bomet to 12th on the log with 40 points.
Bomet, who have two games remaining to the end of the season, are virtually safe for next season, with the sides below them needing a combination of a perfect run and massive goal swing, to even their total, which is impossible, given some have to play against each other.
As for hosts Bandari, a seventh defeat of the season saw them remain 10th in the league with 41 points, extending their winless run in the league to six matches.
