Tottenham came from behind in the first half and had the lead until the 87th minute when Wolves' Larsen won a point for his team - 2-2
Tottenham failed to win for the third time in a row - this time, against the revived Wolverhampton, which remained undefeated in the third game under the new manager, Vitor Pereira. Wolves took the early lead over Hwang Hee-chan, but Spurs managed to come from behind and take the lead before the break thanks to Rodrigo Bentancur and Brennan Johnson, while the captain Son Heung-min missed a penalty.
After the break, neither team was quite uninspired, but the visitors still managed to take the smile off the home fans' faces, as they levelled three minutes before the end through Jorgen Strand Larsen, who secured a valuable point for his crew - 2-2.

Despite their fans' high expectations, Tottenham conceded after only eight minutes, as Wolverhampton took the early lead. Following a nice action from a free kick, Hwang Hee-chan was the executor from a distance, finding the net off the post.

However, Spurs responded only four minutes later when Rodrigo Bentancur crowned Pedro Porro's excellent corner kick with a powerful header and a leveller. In the 24th minute - a similar situation, but a different shooter and outcome. Porro crossed it from a corner once more, but Radu Dragusin wasn't as fortunate as the Uruguayan to find the back of the net.

After a peaceful 20 minutes, Brennan Johnson's solo effort ended in a foul in the box, for which Tottenham were awarded a penalty. Still, the captain Son Heung-min shocked the crowd, allowing Wolves' custodian Jose Sa to "read his mind" and save his strike. Nevertheless, six minutes later, Johnson took matters into his own hands, bringing Spurs the lead just before the break.

As much as the first period was immensely exciting, the second half was one of the dullest in the season. A bunch of subs on both sides, with only one attempt on target, marked the initial 40 minutes of the second half, but then - a shock!

In the 87th minute, Rayan Ait-Nouri sent a timely pass for Jorgen Strand Larsen, who unleashed a "bomb" straight into Fraser Forster's net, making it 2-2 with little time to play! Another disappointing performance could cost Tottenham dearly as they could fall to the 14th place in the Premier League, while Wolves will await the New Year above the relegation zone.
